First time with a motorhome. Toured Ireland Scotland 2 adults 4 children. Blinky didn’t miss a beat and the beds were very comfortable. Fuel economy was much better than expected. Pick up and return were excellent and Peter gave a good and clear explanation of the equipment. Very friendly hassle free company.
The four-berth was both our home and the third person in our BBC ONE history films The History Man
My first Music Festival and first time driving a camper. everything was brilliant. Nelson easy to drive, accommodation super, grandchildren loved the Bunk, Cant fault it.
We love going to music festivals but have always stayed in nearby B&B’s as we never fancied camping. We had some friends that had taken a motorhome, so we decided to give it a go. Fantastic – all the facilities but you are right in the festival. Motorhomes are the way forward!
Well what can i say we hired bob for 3weeks in July 14th 2014 with 4adults 2child drove threw france to benidorm for 8nites then to salou for 3nites staying on campsites all through France bob engine never missed a beat we ad few little probs we wipers but pete couldn’t apologise enough i got charged 25pound for wheel trim that went missing didnt no it where gone apart from that brilliant hire and good people to hire from.
We hired Moe for 2 weeks for a road trip through Europe and the experience exceeded our expectations absolutely. Great team ( I would mention names but feel bad I only remember Peters name and I say team but mean duo)who allowed us to collect him early to make our tunnel crossing and deliver him home late due to the tunnel crossing too. Super comfortable for the long drive (2 adults, one teenager and a Labrador), even though Moe didn’t like the hills, he cruised comfortably the whole 2500 kms and got a battering in some pretty hefty thunderstorms…Not too bad on gas, I allocated £700 for the trip and it ended up that in Euros…The thing I would like to mention is that it all works and its simplicity is brilliant. Nothing complicated, everything in Moe worked and worked well. We were all comfortable, we all had space and the storage was superb meaning we didn’t have stuff lying about everywhere which made it feel even more spacious. I cannot say enough about it. We travelled part of our trip with our best friends who hired a more modern van from a motorhome hire company.. I can say their experience was nothing like ours. Nothing worked on their van and they had absolutely no room in it let alone outside storage. They were not supplied with BBQ, ext. tables, chairs, awning, nothing at all… AND they had to make their bed every night.. nightmare if you ask me….Anyway, I am a super fan and cannot say enough about Moe and you guys… Thanks a bunch.. PS: Anyone need some tips for travelling through Europe, especially if you are going to EURO Disney, email me as I have learnt a lot on this trip and am happy to share as I know it would make it easier next time.. (bartondnm@gmail.com) On the look out to buy one but until then, we will surely be back…..
To say we had a great time is an understatement. Selma never missed a beat and helped us enjoy our camp bestival experience and holiday in Dorset no end. Peter and the team were excellent and 100% helpful to a first time camper van family. Same time next year Peter/Selma
Great time with disco stu travelling to south of france ardeche with us and to kiddies 10 and 7.travelled 1600 miles in to weeks. After arriving at calais we had two espressos to set us off, stopped at chateaudun Aire site (free) for a night then to moulin Aire the next day, site 2.40 euros a night for secure campsite. Onto vallon pont darc in the ardeche for 9 nights,Kayaked 24 km, ate in lovely restaurants and also ate in Stu, played cards during storms and he never let us down. The beds were so comfy and the van is so well equipped. After 9 nights we headed back on the east side of france stopping at Dijon aire site then le parcq near calais. If your expecting quick journey them this isn’t for you, but, if you want to take in the scenery then he is perfect. He is so well equipped with cutlery, tea towels. Pots and pans to name a few and he is so reliable. Pete and Phil are so helpful and ensure you have everything for your adventure… Hannah, Bert, Billy and Ella :-))
We hired Lisa the hymer s580 for a weekend break, we had never driven or stayed in a motor home before and we found the to be everything we wanted and more. The hymer was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The added extras like cleaning products, maps, playing cards and milk just to mention a few were an added bonus. The communication with Peter was excellent. A fantastic weekend. We will most defiantly be hiring again and recommending to others
